Quick Hands @ NBA Store Mall of America

PRODUCED AT BRDG STUDIOS

As the centerpiece for the latest NBA Store at the Minneapolis Mall of America, I concepted, developed, and designed an all-inclusive, skill based arcade game called “Quick Hands”.  This head-to-head game tests the reflexes of consumers as they battle through four quarters and go for the highest score on the leaderboard. I lead a user experience brief and constructed a user flow that addressed each phase of the game and how the brand narrative has the ability to intertwine itself in the visual interface appearance. I created all front facing visual assets that appear on the surrounds locker screens and the interactive touch screens. NBA and WNBA brand guidelines were also adhered to in the templatized creation of the team visual assets used in the game, in which users could select their choice of playing team out of all the available NBA and WNBA teams that currently exist.

Users can compete for the daily or all-time high score. With over 150 users playing everyday, the permanent fixture at the NBA Store has seen resounding response from the community. The highest amount of users to date is 600 players in 24 hours with 25 users playing each hour.
